Volvo Cars Wexford Swimming Academy
Supporting the Community, One Swim at a Time
At Volvo Cars Wexford, we believe in giving back to the community. That’s why we’ve partnered with
Coral Leisure Centre in Wicklow to launch the
Volvo Cars Wexford Swimming Academy - an initiative dedicated to supporting local charities and promoting water safety.
Our Commitment
This year, we are donating €2,000 to a charity chosen by Coral Leisure. The 2025 recipient is the Wicklow Child and Family Project, an incredible organisation that provides essential support to children and families in need. Additionally, we will donate a percentage from every car sold in Wicklow to the charity, ensuring continued support throughout the year.
Why This Matters
At Volvo, we understand the importance of community and coming together to make a difference. Swimming is a vital life skill, and by supporting local leisure centers and charities, we’re helping to create a stronger, safer, and more connected community.
Expanding Our Reach
Wicklow is just the beginning! We are excited to extend our partnership to leisure centers in Arklow, Wexford, and beyond, bringing even more support to local families and charities.

About the Wicklow Child and Family Project
The Wicklow Child & Family Project (WC&FP) is a voluntary organisation providing family support in Wicklow Town and nearby areas, funded by Tusla Child and Family Agency.
WC&FP is managed by County Wicklow Partnership, whose aim is to create and inclusive thriving community by supporting social, cultural & environmental wellbeing.
WC&FP believes all children should be valued and nurtured as equals within their families and communities. They support families by promoting personal, social, and educational development, addressing parenting skills, relationships, separation, stress, mental health, and hidden harm (alcohol/drug use in the family). They work with families and agencies to provide holistic support - because it takes a village to raise a child!
Project workers offer one-to-one support for children, young people, and parents, as well as group programs. Limited additional funding is available for therapeutic sessions.
